SURVEY

The formation, in ripe barley, measured 20.5 metres in length. It was surveyed by members of the Norwegian Crop Circle Group on the 18^th of August, ten days after the formation was fires reported.

The soft, flowing laid crop looked as if it had been “combed” to the ground, forming a dynamic swirl in the central circle. Scattered stalks were found standing among the otherwise downed crop, suggesting that the use of a mechanical crop flattening device was not employed at this location The centre of the inner circle consisted of a standing tuft of stems and was offset from the geometrical centre by about twenty cm.
