Halset farm 8. august 2002
Furnes ved Hamar
SURVEY
The formation, in ripe barley, measured 20.5 metres in length. It was surveyed by members of the Norwegian Crop Circle Group on the 18th of August, ten days after the formation was fires reported.
The soft, flowing laid crop looked as if it had been “combed” to the ground, forming a dynamic swirl in the central circle. Scattered stalks were found standing among the otherwise downed crop, suggesting that the use of a mechanical crop flattening device was not employed at this location The centre of the inner circle consisted of a standing tuft of stems and was offset from the geometrical centre by about twenty cm.
