Troubled by UFO bluff
By KRISTIAN R. ANDERSEN
LARVIK (costal city in the south eastern part of Norway): An acre of the wheat field is ruined. Farmer Rolf Aspaas despairs, and is certain that youngsters are behind the UFO-vandalism.
Yesterday morning Rolf Aspaas discovered three large circles in the middle of one of his field.
- I have read that farmers in England have had whole crops destroyed by so-called UFOs. But it has turned out to be simple vandalism, and not at all the landing places of UFOs.
"The UFO-imprints in the field at Kaupang (small community east of Larvik) are large symmetrical circles with a diameter of thirty metres with corridors of laid crop joining each side to create a simple pictogram glyph.
- It’s difficult to say what motive people would have to do such a thing. These people hope for visitors to arrive from space, that is ok with me, but this is nothing else than pure vandalism, says Rolf Aspaas.
The vandals have probably trusted a pole into the ground in the middle of the field and attached a rope to it. According to Aspaas the same method has been used by keen UFO-vandals in England.

VANDALISM: Farmer Rolf Aspaas is angry with the vandal’s
"UFO-landing" in the field at Kaupang outside Larvik.
