MYSTERIOUS: The large rings that suddenly appeared in a
field at Elton Farm yesterday represents a great mystery.

Strange rings in the field

The Lindbak family at Elton Farm got quite a surprise when they woke up yesterday. In the middle of their grain field they found a on hundre metre long ring pattern that had not been there the previous day.

Gerd Ellen Lindbak lives in the farmhouse that sits just one hundred metres away form the mysterious rings in the field. She lay awake for some hours before falling asleep last night, but did not hear anything unusual at all.

- Hopefully it’s people who have made the pattern, she says to Dagsrevyen (prime time TV news program on the Norwegian National Broadcasting.Ed). As far as she knows there was no partying in the neighbourhood last night.

- The ones who made this must have put a lot of work and fervour into the task to lay down the grain in such a manner, she feels.

During the following day many curious locals have visited the rings in the field. The rings are perfectly circular, and the plants inside the circles are totally undamaged. The downed plants are bent over right above the ground.

The farmer himself, Arne Lindbak, has no idea of what could have happened in the field last night.

No nervous locals contacted the police last night either.
